Ni no Kuni 2 Low FPS Fix
Update Your Device Drivers
The first thing to check for when you get FPS drops in a game is that you have updated device drivers. Most famous titles get various dedicated updates from Nvidia and AMD. You can head to your graphic cards vendor website and download the drivers.
Set Game to High Priority
If the game driver updating thing doesn’t really work for you, you can set your game to high priority. Just start your game, ALT+TAB it and open up task manager.
- From task manager, Right-click on “Ni no Kuni™ II: Revenant Kingdom” and select go to details.
- Right click on Nino2.exe > Set Priority >High
If you don’t like doing this again and again, you can set this as a launch option using Steam Launch options.
Fix Ni no Kuni 2 Stuttering
Stuttering problems should be fixed using the methods that have been mentioned above. If that doesn’t fix your problem, it probably is your CPU causing the problem or there’s some memory eating app running. It is recommended that your shut down apps such as Chrome which eat up a lot of RAM.
Flickering, Green Screen Issue
This issue has been reported in the forums mostly by Nvidia users. To fix this just open up “Nvidia Control Panel” > select “Change Resolution” > now click the check box for “Use Nvidia Color Setting” and select “Highest (32-Bit)” for Desktop Color depth.
This should fix the flickering and green screen issue. 100% success rate on this one.
Fix Random Crashes
Game crashing issues have been reported a lot time-by-time since the release, the game will mostly crash in-between battles which can be frustrating.
There are two ways to fix this, try running the game in borderless windowed mode or change the in-game FPS option to Unlimited.
Remove 60 FPS Cap
If you are running a two monitor setup then the FPS might get capped for you, the only way this can be fixed right now is by disconnecting the second monitor. This might get fixed in the upcoming updates, we will make sure to update it when that happens.
